Data Research Analyst

ABA Rank is an independent, ranked directory covering ABA clinics, software vendors, and service providers, with a nightly-recomputed Index built on qualified reviews, profile completeness, verification recency, and category fit. We're hiring a Directory Data Research Analyst to help keep the Index accurate, complete, and current across thousands of provider listings.

What you'll do

• Research and verify business details for clinics, vendors, and individual practitioners listed in the directory, including services, locations, credentials, and contact information
• Cross-check submitted profile data against public sources (state registries, licensing boards, company websites) to confirm accuracy
• Identify and correct outdated, duplicate, or incomplete listings across the index
• Track down missing profile fields to improve completeness scores and flag data quality issues to the team
• Monitor review sources and verification signals feeding into the ranking calculations
• Maintain clean, well-documented records of research findings and data changes

What we're looking for

• Strong research skills and comfort working across multiple data sources (websites, public registries, spreadsheets, internal tools)
• High attention to detail and a track record of producing accurate, consistent data
• Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume data verification work while maintaining quality
• Basic spreadsheet proficiency (formulas, filtering, data cleanup in Excel or Google Sheets)
• Clear written communication for documenting findings and flagging discrepancies
• Ability to work independently and manage a steady research queue against deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience with data entry, directory maintenance, or catalog/content operations
• Familiarity with healthcare, behavioral health, or professional licensing data
• Exposure to CRM, CMS, or database tools used to manage large record sets
