Data Analyst

Cadence ABA builds AI-native clinical data tools for ABA therapy providers, using voice capture and agentic AI to structure session data, track mastery trends, and draft billable session notes so clinicians can stay present with the child instead of a tablet. We're looking for a Data Analyst to help us understand product usage, clinical data quality, and business performance as we grow.

What you'll do

• Analyze clinical session data, product usage, and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give the team visibility into key metrics
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define and track metrics related to data accuracy, mastery tracking, and documentation turnaround
• Investigate data quality issues in captured trial data and help design checks to catch anomalies
• Support ad hoc analyses for leadership on topics like customer usage patterns, retention, and clinical outcomes
• Translate business and clinical questions into structured analyses with clear, actionable recommendations

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
• Proficiency with a data visualization or BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Metabase)
• Comfort working with a scripting language such as Python or R for analysis
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, especially when working with sensitive or regulated data

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare, clinical, or HIPAA-regulated data
• Familiarity with behavioral health, ABA, or another clinical services domain
• Experience working at an early-stage startup
