Job descriptionFull Time

Cadence ABA is looking for a Product Designer / UX Lead to help shape the design of our agentic ABA platform - software that lets clinicians run sessions by voice and walk away with structured data, mastery decisions, and billable documentation. This is a hands-on design role for someone who can both set the design direction and execute at a high level, working closely with product and engineering to design workflows that hold up in real clinical settings.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end design of core product workflows, from session capture through data review to documentation
  • Design for complex, data-dense clinical interfaces while keeping the experience simple and fast for clinicians in the room with a client
  • Translate ambiguous product and clinical requirements into clear interaction models, flows, and prototypes
  • Partner with engineering to ensure designs are implemented faithfully, including offline and voice-driven interactions
  • Establish and maintain design system standards, patterns, and documentation across the product
  • Run and synthesize user research with clinicians and other end users to validate design decisions

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of product design experience, including ownership of complex, workflow-heavy software products
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process: research, flows, prototyping, and polished UI
  • Experience designing for professional or specialized users (healthcare, clinical, enterprise, or similarly regulated software strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with modern design tooling (e.g., Figma) and ability to produce high-fidelity, developer-ready specs
  • Comfort working directly with engineers and product managers in a fast-moving, iterative environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to justify design decisions with clear reasoning

Nice to have

  • Experience designing voice-driven or ambient/hands-free interfaces
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance considerations (HIPAA, audit trails, role-based access)
  • Experience designing for offline-first or intermittent-connectivity environments
