UI/UX Designer

The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is the official organized ice hockey league in Egypt, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo, running competitive seasons, player development programmes, and community outreach to grow the sport nationwide. We're looking for a UI / UX Designer to help shape the digital experience for fans, players, and clubs across the league's website and digital properties.

What you'll do

• Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web (and potentially mobile) experiences covering schedules, standings, stats, news, and league information
• Translate business and content requirements from league stakeholders into clear, usable interfaces
• Build and maintain a consistent design system/style guide for use across digital touchpoints
• Conduct usability reviews and iterate on designs based on feedback and available data
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and function well across devices
• Support design needs for digital campaigns, such as ticketing, merchandise, or fan engagement pages

What we're looking for

• A portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX design work for web and/or mobile products
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility basics, and design-to-development handoff
• Ability to work from written requirements and translate them into clean, intuitive interfaces
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with non-design stakeholders
• Experience designing for sports, entertainment, or community-driven platforms is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience designing for Arabic or bilingual (Arabic/English) interfaces
• Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to support smoother collaboration with developers
• Familiarity with e-commerce or ticketing platform design
