About the Job
As a Contracts Executive, you will own the review, negotiation and execution of commercial contracts across our European supply chain, with a particular focus on subconsultant appointments, letters of intent, interim agreements and non-disclosure agreements. This role is based in Dublin.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will manage a portfolio of contracts from initial review through to execution. You will negotiate directly with internal and external parties within your agreed authority, coordinate the commercial and technical input needed from teams across the business, and make sound, independent decisions on day-to-day matters. Material, non-standard or higher-risk issues are escalated to the General Counsel or Commercial Manager.
This role suits a commercially minded contracts professional from the engineering, construction, infrastructure or professional services sectors who takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, and who looks for ways to make contracting faster, clearer and lower-risk.
Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end delivery of the contracts workstream, from initial review and negotiation through to execution, with a focus on subconsultant appointments, letters of intent, interim agreements and NDAs.
Manage a portfolio of project, procurement and supply-chain contracts, prioritising competing deadlines and keeping matters moving.
Be accountable for delivering contracts within agreed scope, quality standards and timelines, taking responsibility for the quality of the final output, not just completion of the task.
Make independent decisions within your own scope, including day-to-day negotiation positions with suppliers, subconsultants and other counterparties.
Exercise sound judgement to identify contractual and commercial risk, escalating material or non-standard issues to the General Counsel or Commercial Manager.
Coordinate technical, commercial and project input from internal stakeholders and ensure it is fully reflected in contracts before execution.
Ensure contracts comply with company contracting standards, internal approval requirements and policies, maintaining accurate records to support audit readiness.
Work with the Commercial Manager to compile complete contract packs and issue final contracts for execution.
Act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing clear, practical guidance on the negotiation and interpretation of commercial contracts within your scope.
Improve delivery within your area by contributing beyond assigned tasks, such as refining contract templates and precedents, simplifying workflows and improving how stakeholders engage with the contracting process.
