What applying to Figma usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse typically start with an online application and resume screen, followed by a recruiter phone conversation to discuss background and role fit. From there, the process may include multiple stages such as hiring manager interviews, skills-based assessments or portfolio reviews depending on the role, and panel interviews with cross-functional team members. For technical or design roles, candidates can generally expect exercises relevant to the discipline, such as case studies, take-home projects, or live problem-solving sessions. Final stages often involve conversations with senior leadership or stakeholders before an offer decision. Communication is commonly handled through the Greenhouse platform, and response times vary based on team needs and volume of applicants. Candidates should prepare to discuss their experience, motivations, and how their skills align with the specific position at Figma.”
