Habeo is the IT asset management and CMDB platform built specifically for higher education, replacing ServiceNow ITAM at colleges and universities with Workday-integrated, GASB-compliant, MDM-native discovery and asset tracking. We're looking for a Product Analyst to help the team understand how institutions use Habeo, translate customer and usage data into clear product decisions, and support the roadmap with rigorous analysis.
What you'll do
- Analyze product usage data across the asset ledger, CMDB, and Copilot features to identify adoption patterns, friction points, and opportunities
- Partner with product managers and engineers to define, track, and report on key product metrics and KPIs
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give the team a clear, ongoing view of product health
- Translate qualitative and quantitative customer feedback (from design partners and pilot institutions) into actionable product insights
- Support experimentation and feature rollouts by designing analyses, defining success metrics, and evaluating outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and engineering to answer ad hoc product questions with data
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience in a product analyst, data analyst, or similar analytical role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
- Strong SQL skills and experience working directly with product usage or event data
- Comfort with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Mode, Tableau, or similar)
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a bias toward rigorous, evidence-based decision-making
Nice to have
- Experience working with or analyzing data from enterprise software sold to institutions (higher education, government, or other complex organizational buyers)
- Familiarity with CMDB, ITAM, or IT service management concepts
- Experience with Python or another scripting language for data analysis
