SEO Content Writer

HireAIScore is looking for an SEO Content Writer to grow organic visibility for our independent directory of AI hiring vendors. HireAIScore publishes rubric-based scores for AI hiring tools against regulations like the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act, NYC Local Law 144, and Illinois HB 3773. This role will plan and write content that helps HR, legal, and compliance audiences find our vendor rankings, methodology explainers, and regulatory analysis through search.

What you'll do

• Research and prioritize keywords related to AI hiring compliance, vendor evaluation, and HR tech, and turn them into a content calendar
• Write and edit SEO-optimized articles, vendor comparison pages, and explainers on regulations affecting hiring AI
• Optimize existing pages (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links) to improve search rankings and click-through rates
• Collaborate with editorial and subject-matter contributors to ensure accuracy on regulatory and scoring content
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, and content performance, and iterate based on data
• Maintain a consistent, clear editorial voice across rankings, methodology pages, and analysis articles

What we're looking for

• Proven experience writing SEO content that ranks and drives organic traffic, ideally in B2B, SaaS, HR tech, or compliance-adjacent spaces
• Strong command of on-page SEO fundamentals: keyword research, search intent, internal linking, and technical basics like metadata
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to make dense or technical subject matter (regulation, scoring methodology) clear and readable
• Comfort working with SEO tools (e.g., keyword research and rank-tracking platforms) and basic content analytics
• Ability to work independently, manage a content calendar, and meet deadlines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HR tech, hiring compliance, or AI governance topics
• Experience writing about regulated or evidence-heavy subject matter
• Basic understanding of CMS platforms and on-page technical SEO implementation
