HireAIScore is an independent directory that scores AI hiring vendors against a published rubric tied to the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act, NYC Local Law 144, and Illinois HB 3773. The team is looking for a Recruiter to build and run hiring processes for a small, fast-moving editorial and research operation, partnering closely with leadership to bring in the analysts, editors, and operators who keep the rubric rigorous and the rankings trustworthy.
What you'll do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles, from intake with hiring managers through offer and close
- Source active and passive candidates through direct outreach, referrals, and targeted channels
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone or video interviews, and assess candidates against role requirements
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates for current and upcoming needs
- Coordinate interview loops, gather structured feedback from interviewers, and drive timely hiring decisions
- Own candidate communication and experience from first contact through onboarding, keeping candidates informed at every stage
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a recruiter, either in-house or agency, managing multiple open roles at once
- Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn, Boolean search, and other candidate-generation channels
- Comfortable running structured interviews and giving hiring managers clear, evidence-based feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to represent the company professionally to candidates
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage a pipeline and keep an applicant tracking system current
- Sound judgment on when to move a candidate forward and when to say no
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting for research, editorial, policy, or analyst roles
- Familiarity with hiring in a small or early-stage team where processes are still being built
- Interest in AI governance, hiring regulation, or HR technology
