HireAIScore is an independent directory that scores AI hiring vendors against a published rubric tied to the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act, NYC Local Law 144, and Illinois HB 3773. We're looking for an SEO Specialist to grow organic visibility for our vendor rankings, methodology content, and regulatory explainers, helping the people researching AI hiring tools and compliance find us first.
What you'll do
- Own on-page and technical SEO across the site, including vendor profile pages, category pages, and editorial content
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities across AI hiring, HR tech, and AI regulation search terms
- Partner with editorial and content teams to optimize new articles, explainers, and vendor profiles for search from the outset
- Monitor site health via technical audits, fixing crawlability, indexation, site speed, and structured data issues
- Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics, and report on performance against goals
- Build and execute link-building and content-distribution strategies to grow domain authority
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally with a content-heavy or directory-style website
- Working knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals: site architecture, schema markup, page speed, and crawl budget
- Experience conducting keyword research and translating it into content and structural recommendations
- Comfort working with content and editorial teams to align SEO best practices with editorial standards
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate SEO performance clearly to non-specialists
Nice to have
- Experience with SEO for regulatory, compliance, or B2B research/directory sites
- Familiarity with structured data for rankings, ratings, or comparison content
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge sufficient to implement or troubleshoot on-page fixes
