LandEarly is looking for a Trust & Safety Analyst to help protect the integrity of the platform and ensure a safe, trustworthy experience for job seekers using its auto-apply and job-matching tools. In this role, you'll monitor for abuse, fraud, and policy violations, investigate flagged accounts and activity, and help build and refine the processes that keep the platform secure as usage scales.
What you'll do
- Review and investigate flagged accounts, applications, and user activity for fraud, abuse, or policy violations
- Triage and respond to trust and safety escalations within defined service levels
- Identify patterns of misuse (e.g., fake profiles, automated abuse, scraping, or spam) and recommend detection improvements
- Partner with engineering and product teams to improve automated detection rules and reduce false positives
- Document investigation findings, decisions, and policy exceptions clearly and consistently
- Contribute to and help refine trust and safety policies, guidelines, and escalation workflows
What we're looking for
- 1-3+ years of experience in trust & safety, content moderation, fraud investigation, or a related risk/compliance function
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working in spreadsheets, internal tools, and ticketing/case-management systems
- Excellent written communication for documenting investigations and policy decisions clearly
- Sound judgment when handling ambiguous or sensitive cases, with attention to consistency and fairness
- Ability to work independently while following established escalation paths and guidelines
- Comfort working with data to spot trends and anomalies in user behavior
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL or basic data querying for investigations
- Familiarity with online marketplaces, job platforms, or consumer tech products
- Prior experience writing or refining trust and safety policies
