LandEarly is looking for a UX Researcher to help shape the experience of a product that job seekers rely on to move quickly - surfacing fresh job postings, tailoring application materials, and tracking every submission in one place. You'll work closely with product and design to understand how people search for jobs, decide what to trust, and use automation with confidence, and you'll turn that understanding into research that directly informs what gets built next.
What you'll do
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, usability tests, surveys, diary studies) across the web and mobile product
- Partner with product managers and designers to identify research questions tied to active roadmap decisions
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to cross-functional stakeholders
- Build and maintain a repository of research so past learnings are easy to find and reuse
- Evaluate new and existing features for usability, clarity, and trust, particularly around AI-generated content and autopilot-style automation
- Help define and track product and experience metrics in partnership with product and analytics
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in UX research or a similar applied research role
- Strong command of core research methods, from generative discovery to evaluative usability testing
- Experience translating ambiguous product questions into a research plan and a clear set of findings
- Comfort presenting insights to designers, engineers, and leadership in a way that drives decisions
- Solid writing and synthesis skills - you can turn messy interview notes into a tight set of recommendations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
Nice to have
- Experience researching consumer products used on both web and mobile
- Familiarity with researching AI-assisted or automation-heavy product experiences
- Background working on job search, career, or productivity tools
