Engineering Manager

Migaru AI builds an AI-native CRM that reads a sales team's email, calendar and calls, then automatically files conversations, keeps accounts, contacts, and deals current, and drafts follow-ups and outreach for review before anything is sent. We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and grow an engineering team building the product that powers this record-keeping and automation.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, providing regular feedback, career development, and performance management
• Partner with product and design to define roadmap, scope projects, and set priorities that balance speed with code quality
• Oversee technical execution, including architecture decisions, code review practices, and engineering standards across the team
• Drive sprint planning, task breakdown, and delivery tracking to keep projects on schedule
• Identify and remove blockers, including cross-team dependencies and technical debt, to keep the team moving efficiently
• Hire and onboard new engineers, helping scale the team as the company grows

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years directly managing engineers
• Track record of shipping production software at a fast-moving startup or similarly paced environment
• Strong technical background sufficient to review architecture and code-level decisions with your team
• Experience working closely with product management to translate business goals into engineering plans
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop engineering talent
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable operating with autonomy in a small team

Nice to have

• Experience building or managing teams working on CRM, sales, or productivity software
• Familiarity with AI/ML-powered product development, including LLM-based features
• Experience in an early-stage startup environment, building engineering practices from the ground up
