What applying to Perplexity usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through ashby for roles at Perplexity can generally expect an online application followed by an initial recruiter screen to review background and interest. The process may include multiple stages such as technical or role-specific assessments, hiring manager conversations, and panel interviews with prospective teammates, particularly for engineering, product, or specialized technical roles. Take-home exercises or live problem-solving sessions are also commonly used depending on the position. Communication is typically handled through automated updates within the ashby platform, and candidates should ensure their contact details are current to receive scheduling requests. Response times vary based on team needs and role seniority, so candidates are encouraged to follow up politely if they have not heard back. Overall, preparation should focus on clearly articulating relevant experience and demonstrating alignment with the role's core requirements.
