Job descriptionReq 1425207433

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Bring it.

You bring the skills, the spark, and the perspective that make great design possible. We care less about where you've been and more about what you can do.

  • Visual storytelling ability — you can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling design across digital and print formats

  • Proficiency in design tools — Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), or equivalent industry-standard software

  • A strong design portfolio — demonstrating brand thinking, visual consistency, and creative problem-solving across multiple formats or projects

  • Typography and colour theory fluency — an instinctive understanding of how visual systems work and why they matter

  • Attention to detail — an ability to hold a brand standard under pressure while still moving quickly

  • Collaborative communication skills — you can articulate design decisions to non-designers and receive feedback constructively

  • A growth mindset — you stay curious, seek feedback, and push your craft forward independently

Build it.

This is where your skills come to life. As a Brand Designer, you will shape how our brand shows up in the world — consistently, confidently, and creatively.

  • Design on-brand assets across channels — social media, presentations, events, campaigns, and product marketing

  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, design systems, and visual identity standards

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Communications teams to translate briefs into high-quality creative output

  • Contribute to brand campaigns from concept through to final delivery

  • Produce templates and reusable assets that empower teams across the business to communicate visually

  • Review and quality-check design work produced by internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency

  • Participate in design critiques, bringing constructive perspective and a commitment to raising the bar

Belong.

At SAP, we don't just want you to contribute — we want you to feel at home here. We believe the best design comes from teams where every voice is heard and every perspective is valued.

You'll join a creative community that celebrates craft, challenges the status quo, and supports each other's growth. Whether you're refining a global brand moment or solving a small but meaningful design problem, you'll do it as part of a team that genuinely cares about the work — and about you.

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace where diverse backgrounds, identities, and ways of thinking are not just welcome — they make us better.

What applying to SAP usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through successfactors typically begin by submitting an online profile and resume through SAP's careers portal, which commonly integrates with successfactors for application tracking and status updates. Applicants may receive automated confirmation emails and periodic status changes visible within the candidate portal. The process can generally include an initial recruiter screening, followed by hiring manager conversations and may include multiple stages such as technical or role-specific assessments depending on the position. Some roles may involve panel discussions or skills evaluations. Communication is often handled through the platform itself, though candidates may also be contacted by phone or email. Response times vary, and candidates are encouraged to monitor their application dashboard and email regularly. Preparing role-relevant examples and reviewing the job description closely is generally advisable.”
