Job descriptionFull Time

Cadence ABA is looking for an RBT Clinical Product Specialist to bridge the gap between our clinical platform and the RBTs, BCBAs, and clinic teams who use it every day. In this role, you'll bring hands-on ABA field experience to help shape, support, and communicate a product built for voice-first data collection, mastery tracking, and billable documentation. This is a strong fit for a Registered Behavior Technician who wants to apply their clinical background to product, training, and customer-facing work rather than direct client sessions.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the clinical voice in product conversations, providing frontline RBT perspective on workflows like trial-by-trial data capture, prompt levels, and mastery criteria
  • Support onboarding and training for clinics adopting Cadence, helping RBTs and BCBAs transition from paper or tablet-based data collection to voice-first capture
  • Test new and existing product features for clinical accuracy, usability, and alignment with real session workflows
  • Field and troubleshoot clinical-workflow questions from customers, escalating product gaps to engineering and design
  • Help create clear, practitioner-facing documentation, guides, and training materials on how the platform supports ABA measurement systems and session documentation
  • Partner with product and clinical teams to validate that new features reflect defensible, real-world ABA practice

What we're looking for

  • Active RBT certification (Registered Behavior Technician) in good standing
  • Hands-on experience running ABA sessions and collecting data across multiple measurement systems (frequency, duration, interval, etc.)
  • Comfortable talking through clinical workflows with both clinicians and non-clinical product/engineering staff
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate clinical needs into clear product feedback
  • Comfortable learning and working inside a software platform daily; prior exposure to ABA data-collection software is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, especially around data accuracy and documentation standards

Nice to have

  • Experience training or supervising other RBTs
  • Exposure to billing/CPT coding conventions in ABA
  • Prior experience giving feedback on or testing clinical software products
