Casework produces AI Act conformity files, Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments, and Article 9 risk documentation for AI hiring tools, working against regulatory regimes including the EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act, Illinois HB 3773, and NYC LL 144. We're hiring a Data Analyst to support our production work — helping the team turn discovery findings, vendor documentation, and audit data into clear, well-cited analysis that feeds into the conformity files we deliver to clients.
What you'll do
- Analyze vendor-provided and client-provided data on AI hiring tools to identify patterns, gaps, and risk indicators relevant to bias audits and impact assessments
- Build and maintain structured datasets and trackers that support discovery, drafting, and review across multiple client engagements
- Translate raw findings into clear summaries, tables, and charts suitable for inclusion in regulator-facing documentation
- Support quality checks on data used in Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments and post-market monitoring plans
- Collaborate with the production team during discovery and review phases to ensure findings are accurately represented and well-sourced
- Help refine internal templates and processes for recurring analysis tasks across engagements
What we're looking for
- Experience working with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Python, or similar) to clean, structure, and summarize datasets
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort working with ambiguous, qualitative source material (vendor docs, audit reports, policy text) alongside structured data
- Attention to detail and a track record of producing accurate, well-documented work under deadline pressure
- Ability to work independently within a fixed-scope, fixed-timeline production cycle
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI governance, algorithmic bias audits, or HR technology
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance documentation work
- Experience working at a small firm or in a project-based delivery model
