The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is the official organized ice hockey league in Egypt, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo. The league runs competitive seasons, player development programmes, and community outreach as it grows the sport from Cairo to Alexandria. The EHL is looking for a Graphic Designer to help bring the league's visual identity to life across digital and print channels, supporting everything from game-day content to league announcements and merchandise.
What you'll do
- Design graphics for game-day content, including matchup cards, boxscores, and recap visuals
- Create promotional assets for league announcements, news stories, and tournament coverage
- Develop and maintain visual branding for club and league-wide communications
- Produce layouts and mockups for merchandise such as jerseys and other official store items
- Collaborate with league staff to design materials for social media, the website, and email communications
- Support the creation of visual assets for the player directory, draft central, and tournament pages
What we're looking for
- A portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design skills across digital and print formats
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, and brand consistency
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, especially around game days
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively
- Experience designing for both web and print applications
Nice to have
- Experience designing sports-related content or merchandise
- Familiarity with motion graphics or basic video editing
- Interest in or knowledge of ice hockey or emerging sports leagues in the Middle East
