Job descriptionFull Time

Wanderlust App helps people plan trips grounded in real city and cost data, live them offline on the ground with Trip Mode, and share them with a wider community of travelers through /explore. We're looking for a Product Analyst to help the team understand how people actually use the app — from AI itinerary drafting and Optimize Day, to Trip Mode, to sharing and cloning trips — and to turn that understanding into clear, actionable recommendations for the product team.

What you'll do

  • Analyze product usage data across the trip planning, Trip Mode, and sharing/discovery experiences to identify trends, friction points, and opportunities
  • Partner with product managers and designers to define success metrics for new features and evaluate results after launch
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give the team ongoing visibility into key funnels (e.g., itinerary creation, free-to-Pro conversion, trip publishing)
  • Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to inform product decisions
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate, reliable event tracking and data pipelines

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in a product analytics, data analytics, or similar role
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience with a BI or visualization tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of experimentation methodology, including A/B testing and statistical significance
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment with shifting priorities

Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile app analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel)
  • Familiarity with Python or R for deeper statistical analysis
  • Background in consumer subscription products or travel/marketplace apps
