Casework produces AI Act conformity files, Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments, and Article 9 risk documentation for AI hiring tools, working against EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act, Illinois HB 3773, and NYC LL 144 deadlines. Each engagement is a fixed-scope, fixed-price production cycle — intake, discovery, drafting, review, and handoff — delivered in four weeks. We're hiring a Product Manager to help shape and improve the productized service and the internal tools that make it possible to deliver regulator-ready documentation on a four-week cycle, at scale, without sacrificing quality.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for the internal production tooling and workflows that support intake, discovery, drafting, review, and handoff for each conformity pack
- Work closely with subject-matter specialists to translate regulatory and methodology requirements into product and process improvements
- Define and track metrics for production-cycle efficiency, quality, and client outcomes
- Gather structured feedback from engagements to identify where the methodology or tooling needs to evolve
- Prioritize a backlog that balances new regime coverage (e.g., emerging state AI laws) against improvements to existing production processes
- Partner with engineering, delivery, and the founder to ship improvements without disrupting live client engagements
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in a services, compliance, legaltech, or regtech environment
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous, process-heavy work into clear, scoped product requirements
- Comfort working with subject-matter experts on regulated or technical domains and translating their input into usable tooling
- Strong written communication skills — this role involves documenting decisions and requirements clearly
- Experience prioritizing a roadmap with limited resources and a small, focused team
- Data-informed approach to measuring product and process performance
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI governance, HR tech, or regulatory compliance domains
- Experience working in or with a productized-service or fixed-scope consulting model
- Exposure to AI-assisted production workflows (e.g., using AI tooling to augment drafting or research)
