DoubleTap Consulting is a software consultancy that builds custom websites, product platforms and internal software for streaming, SaaS and commerce teams — working with clients like Hulu, Auth0, Italic and Raven Health. We're a senior-only team with no account layer and no junior bench, and we're looking for a Technical Recruiter to help us find the engineers and designers who can meet that bar.
What you'll do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and design roles, from intake through offer
- Partner with founders and senior team members to define role scope and evaluation criteria for each search
- Source passive candidates through targeted outreach, referrals and niche technical communities rather than relying solely on inbound applicants
- Screen candidates for both technical fit and communication skills, given the direct-access, client-facing nature of the work
- Manage candidate pipelines and interview logistics, keeping a small team of stakeholders aligned without slowing the process down
- Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill and source effectiveness
What we're looking for
- Experience recruiting for software engineering and/or product design roles, ideally at a consultancy, agency or similarly senior-heavy organization
- Ability to evaluate technical resumes and portfolios well enough to have an informed conversation with hiring engineers
- Strong sourcing skills — comfortable building pipelines for niche or senior technical talent, not just posting jobs and waiting
- Excellent written and verbal communication, since candidates will often be evaluating DoubleTap the same way clients do
- Comfort working in a small team with direct access to decision-makers, rather than a large TA org with layers of process
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the tech stacks common to modern web and product work (e.g., React, Node, cloud infrastructure) at a level sufficient to screen for them
- Experience recruiting for client-services or consulting environments where the same hires need to represent the company to outside clients
